i’m going to be honest & admit that i’ve never seen big hero six, nor do i even know what it’s about, but i’ve been meaning to watch it, since i’ve heard it’s pretty good. but, i felt the need to say that, so you’d know why i wasn’t sure what to rate your character / fandom / things like that. but, your writing’s sweet, & you seem like a cool person, so still, you’re 1000+ overall. & hopefully one day we can write together & all that, even is my muse is kind of an idiot 99% of the time.

i don’t know if that was meant for this meme or not, but either way, thank you, because percy’s one of my favorite characters ever, & he has been ever since i read the first book ( so like… two months after the lightning thief book came out, or something like that ) so i’m afraid of messing him up or something, so messages like this are the best. not sure about the super duper sweet part, though. my friends all call me an asshole, but that might just be because they’re my friends. i don’t know. but thanks ! seriously. means a lot.

eight. how does your character feel about religion?

because he has personally met the greek (& roman, for that matter) gods & goddesses, he believes in them, rather than god with a capital g. he doesn’t worship them however, because he thinks that their egos are already large enough without mortals worshipping them the way they used to – he just knows that they exist, considering he’s part olympian.

he also believes that the world was created by chaos (the supernatural being), & that gaea’s need for company was really the start for everything, as it was she who asked for there to be a sky (aka ouranos ), since he’s met gaea, too, even if it was in a war against her. but, he doesn’t bother to ruin the beliefs of those who believe in other things, because he thinks they can believe whatever they want to believe. after all, when they die, they won’t see the underworld, as he would – they’d go to what they believed to be heaven or hell, or whatever it is they believed in.

so, basically, he’s not a religious person. he recognizes the gods, since it’s difficult not to when they’re messing with his life all the time, but he doesn’t worship them. he might pray to them when desperate, but that’s it.

nine. what about political beliefs?

percy’s not a political person, either. he doesn’t pay enough attention to political ads during election times, because a ) they bore him; b ) he doesn’t have the attention span; & c ) when they show up, he’s either trying to watch television or youtube videos, so he doesn’t care.

but he does know about some of the major things that politicians argue over, & holds his own beliefs about them, like: he believes women should be allowed to abort their unborn children if they want to, since it’s their choice, & he believes in gay marriage because it’s their choice as well. he also is against the whole gun restriction thing, but that’s probably because he knows how important weapons are when in danger.

eleven. how do they see themselves: as smart, as intelligent, uneducated?

he’s not a genius, but he knows he isn't stupid, either. for someone with learning disabilities, he’s pretty smart, but he doesn’t show it most of the time. so, he sees himself as moderately educated. not smart, but not stupid, either. just normal.
